Frequently Asked Questions

How can I give to Crossroads?

  • Option 1: Offering Bucket
  • The offering buckets are passed during Sunday and Wednesday services
  • Option 2: Drop Boxes
  • These boxes are located within the sanctuary and around the church campus.
  • Option 3: Giving Kiosks
  • Kiosks are available in the South East Lobby as well as the Welcome Center, SLC and upstairs with Kids Ministry. You can use your debit or credit card to make a contribution at the kiosk.
  • Option 4: Mobile Giving
  • You can give on your mobile phone using the SecureGive app. Once you create an account with SecureGive you will be able to give using your debit/credit card or your bank account and routing numbers.
  • Option 5: Online Giving
  • You can set up a recurring gift or make a one-time contribution at https://app.securegive.com/CrossroadsOKC
  • Option 6: Text-to-Give
  • You can make faster contributions using Text-to-Give. You will be able to make a contribution by texting give to (405) 774-9747

How do I view my total giving history?

If you wish to see your total giving history, you can go to your church giving profile on the Crossroads.church webpage.

How can I give using an offering envelope?

Please fill out the offering envelope with your name, address, phone number, and email address as applicable. Print information clearly.

Any amounts listed in the “tithe” or “offerings” lines will be placed in the general Tithe & Offering funds for the church. If an amount is listed in the “tithe” portion of the envelope, the church is legally required to place those funds within the Tithe & Offering account. If an amount is listed in the “offering” portion of the envelope these funds will also be placed within the Tithe & Offering account unless a specific designation is made.

If an amount is placed in the “missions” line without a specific missionary or fund designated the funds will go to the main missions’ fund. If you would like your contribution to go to a specific missionary or mission fund please fill this in on the line provided. You can find a list of missionaries and mission funds supported by Crossroads Church listed below.

If you would like to contribute to a specific ministry, fund or special offering, please write your designation and amount on the “other” line.

What is SecureGive?

SecureGive is the giving platform that allows you to give a single gift or schedule recurring giving using your checking account, debit or credit card. SecureGive is the platform that powers our online, mobile, text-to-give, and kiosk giving options. 

Is the SecureGive giving platform secure?

Absolutely!  We take security very seriously and this is one of the reasons we chose to go with SecureGive.  SecureGive software is encrypted with 256-bit encryption and the payment gateway software is PCI certified with 256-bit encryption.  

Do I need to create a profile and login in order to participate in Online Giving?

If you are giving a one-time gift, you do not have to create a login. If you would like to set up a recurring gift, you will need to set up an account and login information.

What types of cards are accepted?

MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express debit or credit cards are all accepted by SecureGive.

How long will it take for my online gift to be reflected on my bank statement or credit card account?

In most cases credit and debit card transactions should post to your credit card account or bank account within 3-5 business days.

Are there fees involved with online giving?

There are no fees or costs to the giver for using online giving. Crossroads pays any and all fees associated with online giving.

How long will it take my contribution to process?

In most cases contributions should post to your account within 3-5 business days.

How can I obtain a receipt for my online gift?

Your receipt will be emailed to the email address associated with your online giving account. 

Can I set up recurring donations?

Yes, SecureGive allows for recurring donations to be set on a weekly, bi-weekly, twice-monthly, monthly or quarterly basis.

Can I change my amount or the frequency of my recurring gift once I have set it up?

Yes. In order to make changes to your recurring gift you will need to log in to your SecureGive account.

How do I edit credit/debit card or banking information if I have a repeating gift?

This information can be changed by logging in to your SecureGive account and clicking on “my payment methods.”

If I make a one-time gift, can my credit card information be stored for future transactions?

If you log in to your SecureGive account to make your gift, it will be able to store your credit/debit card information. If you are making your one-time gift as a guest, it will not store this information.

What Crossroads Church ministries can I donate to?

All Crossroads Church ministries are available to accept donations. Please make sure you clarify on your offering envelope where you would like your funds to go.

Can I pay for camps/outings online?

Yes! When you go to the website, you will need to click the purchase option.  It will list the current camps/outings available to accept payment.

What is anonymous giving?

Anonymous giving allows you to give without your information and giving history recorded by the church. This means you will not receive a giving statement for your donation.

Why does it ask for my billing information if I am giving anonymously?

Your billing details are required for security purposes for online giving. Your contact information is not kept on file at the church.

Do I receive tax information for my anonymous donation?

No. When you give anonymously there is no record of your giving history being tracked, so you do not receive a giving statement for tax purposes. If you would like to receive a giving statement, please login to give.

Will I receive an annual giving statement for tax purposes? 

Yes. Your giving history is confidentially maintained by the Crossroads Church business office. Additionally, Crossroads will mail you a giving statement by January 31st of each year to use when filing your taxes for the prior year. This statement captures all of your tax deductible donations contributed to Crossroads Church.

What is the deadline for annual contributions?

Cash and check contributions must be received or post marked by December 31st to be included on your giving statement for that year. Online transactions must be initiated by 11:59PM on December 31st to be included. Please contact the business office at busoffice@crossroads.church with any questions about the contributions.
